BURN IN SILENCE Calls It Quits

January 24, 2008

Vocalist Chris Harrell of the Boston, Massachusetts-based metalcore band BURN IN SILENCE has issued the following update:

"It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the end of BURN IN SILENCE. This band has had the great opportunity to play shows all across the country with great bands and in front of great people. I want to thank EVERY musician who helped to make BURN IN SILENCE what it was no matter how long they were in the band. I will continue to keep this page updated as to let you guys know what is going on with the former members. Thank you all very much for your love and support over the past years, through the good and the bad you put a smile on my face every day knowing that we had people that cared about this band! We will never forget you guys and all the love."

HeavyMetalSource.com recently conducted an interview with BURN IN SILENCE vocalist Chris Harrell, bassist Wes Kelly and keyboardist Ben Schulkin in Shelton, Connecticut. Watch the 10-minute clip below.

BURN IN SILENCE's most recent album, "Angel Maker", came out in 2006 via Prosthetic. The CD was recorded with producer Ken Susi (UNEARTH) in late 2005 and early 2006, with Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) handling mixing duties. The record is the follow-up to BURN IN SILENCE's self-released "Pure as Your First Day" EP.
